Manchester United could go to the top of the Premier League table for at least a couple of days if they manage to beat Bolton Wanderers when the two teams clash on Saturday.
United's narrow 1-0 win against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday saw them move just two points behind league leaders Liverpool who do not play until Monday. Wayne Rooney scored the only goal of the match within a minute after the kick off and though Wigan threatened to stage a comeback late in the game, the United defense held on to their slender lead.
