Chelsea take on Stoke City in their next Premiership match with the club in a desperate need for a league victory to lift some pressure off manager Luiz Felipe Scolari and maintain their title challenge.
Pressure increased on Scolari following a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend and reports that the coach has had a training ground bust-up with Nicolas Anelka. Goals from Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov consigned Chelsea to a humiliating defeat, which only served to increase the pressure on Scolari.
